Covenant Chambers acted in partly successful appeal in the Appellate Division

Our firm acted for the appellant in this appeal in the Appellate Division of the High Court of Singapore where the appellant succeeded in his appeal in part.

The team was led by Director Ronald J J Wong who was assisted by Associate Stuart Peter.

This is a rare case of a successful claim for the equitable remedy of rectification (and in particular as to the identity of the parties to the contract, which is probably a first in Singapore).

And on appeal, the court determined and ordered the payment of a reasonable sum for services based on best available factual evidence.
